Early in the year (almost always in February), the Market hosts the coolest Mardi Gras party this side of Bourbon Street. We offer outstanding Cajun bands, mask making, bead tossing, a special Mardi Gras paraphernalia stand; we usually lay in a healthy supply of Dixie Beer and many of our shops, including the award-winning Gumbo Pot, offer great New Orleans style cuisine.
